Jefferson Park is an existing neighborhood park located in East Point, Georgia. Currently, the park consists of an area of mature hardwoods, a stream, open grassed play areas, a tennis court, a small parking lot and a rest room facility. A significant portion of the stream was piped and because of health and safety issues due to disrepair, the park has been temporarily closed.

TJ Schell designed an open channel stream buffer revegetation plan using a combination of live willow stakes, native vegetation, drop structures (by others), rock/boulders and turf reinforcement matting. Excavation and tree removal is limited to what is required to install the new headwall and any erosion control devices to prevent scouring at the upstream end of the project. The downstream end joins an existing culvert at Sylvan Road.
