As a member of the Georgia Wind Working Group (GaWWG), Teresa Eldredge is part of the team that was awarded a grant through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) in September of 2009. Together with the Towns County Schools (Hiawassee), Blue Ridge Mountain EMC, Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA) and fellow GaWWG members, she will work to facilitate the installation of a 60' wind turbine (Sky Stream 3.7 - 2.4kW) in June, 2010. It is believed that this will be the first working wind turbine on a public school campus (Primary and Secondary) in Georgia.
TJ Schell is part of the team designing landscape plans for the Fairground Streetscape and Intersection Improvements in Marietta, Georgia. Julia Schiebel is heading up the landscape coordination including all final designs that will be implemented in 2010 and 2011.
TJ Schell recently teamed with the City of Woodstock, Georgia to write and submit a grant application for Energy Efficiency Community Block Grant (EECBG) funds through the stimulus program. Woodstock was awarded the grant in April 2010 and Teresa Eldredge will be the program administrator. She will coordinate the multifaceted scope and work with City Staff and contractors to implement the $220,000.00 grant.-
